This 1993 Mercedes-Benz 500E shows a two owner history with registrations noted in Pennsylvania, Maine, and Virginia. The current owner and seller purchased the car in 2012 from the first owner with 102k miles on the odometer. The car is finished in Black Pearl Metallic (199U) over Anthracite Leather (271) and powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes original 16x8” 8-hole wheels, a sunroof, heated and power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, an aftermarket JVC head unit, and an electrically adjustable side mirror. The car is finished in Black Pearl Metallic (199U) with grey lower body cladding. Equipment includes US-spec headlights and fender lights, fog lights, headlight wipers, a sunroof, and an automatic antenna. The 500E comes fitted with flared front and rear fenders along with widened bumpers to match compared to a standard W124. The cabin features factory Recaro seats upholstered in Anthracite Leather (271) with matching headrests, door cards, and armrests. Burl wood trim accents the dashboard, center stack in the front and rear, and door panels. Equipment includes power-adjustable and heated front seats, an electric rear roller blind, automatic climate control, and an aftermarket JVC head unit featuring bluetooth sound. The seller notes some wear in the leather around the steering wheel and leather peeling away from the B-pillar on the driver’s side of the car. In addition, the center rear view mirror shows glue where it was affixed within the frame. The original Becker head unit will be included in the sale along with the stock ampflifier and related hardware.

The four-spoke steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation that includes a 160mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 151k original miles. 

The 5.0-liter DOHC M119 V8 was factory rated at 322 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission. More than 10 years of service history accompany the 500E via paper records. The seller notes a check engine light on and low power under cold start until warm. When ambient temperature is warm the issue does not persist.
